Site Selection Application Criteria
We are in active discussions with landowners to secure the ideal 20-hectare site for Africa’s first world-class inland surf park, set within the globally iconic Cape Winelands “Golden Triangle” of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl. This is a unique opportunity for landowners to be part of a landmark wellness and surf destination. While we are already exploring several promising options, we remain open to considering additional sites that meet our vision and development needs.
The ideal location will be approximately 15–20 hectares in size, with close proximity to infrastructure, transport links, and utilities. Sites should offer a relatively flat topography, good soil conditions, and access to reliable power and water. Consideration will also be given to factors such as groundwater levels, environmental setbacks, and zoning requirements. A minimum of 30,000m² must be available for the surf lagoon and associated infrastructure.
Landowners who believe their site aligns with our criteria are invited to put forward their proposals for evaluation. This is a rare chance to play a foundational role in bringing a transformative project to life in one of South Africa’s most iconic regions.
